Privacy policy

This policy explains what blestarter.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. BLE Starter is run by Sahil Bora, a sole trader based in Australia. "I" and "me" below means Sahil.

What I collect

• Your email address, if you join the founding list. The form asks for nothing else.
• Usage data from Google Analytics: the pages you view, how you found the site, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. Google Analytics uses cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to do this.
• Server logs kept by my hosting provider, Vercel, such as IP addresses, browser details and the pages requested. These are used to run and protect the site.
• Your messages, if you email me.

How I use it

• To email you the founding offer and updates about BLE Starter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To see which pages and links people use, so I can improve the site.
• To reply to you.

I don't sell your personal information, and I don't use it to target ads.

Who I share it with

• MailerLite stores the founding list and sends the emails.
• Google measures site usage through Google Analytics. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
• Vercel hosts the site.

These providers may store and process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. I'll also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies

The only cookies on this site are Google Analytics cookies. There are no advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

How long I keep it

• Founding-list emails: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them.
• Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
• Emails you send me: as long as I need them to help you.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it. You can also ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing sahilbora885@gmail.com. I'll reply within 30 days.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please email me first. You can also contact the privacy regulator where you live.

Children

BLE Starter is for developers and businesses. It isn't directed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
